About ARKBEL
Solutions over sales — literally the way we work
ARKBEL is an IT services and solutions company from Rijeka, Croatia. We build websites that earn inquiries, automate the work nobody should do by hand, keep business IT running, and wire sensors into places worth watching.
Who we are
ARKBEL was founded by Dario Horvat, who spent nearly a decade training IT support specialists before moving into management, and today heads operations at an international software company. Teaching people how to keep systems reliable — and explaining technology without the jargon — is where "Solutions Over Sales" comes from: it was the job before it was the slogan.
He also leads project management for a document archiving and digitalization service, planning and coordinating its key projects — timelines, budgets, partner communication, and delivery quality — where processes have to be secure, efficient, and compliant.
ARKBEL grew out of both roles: years of watching businesses struggle with the same gaps — websites that don't earn inquiries, manual work nobody automated, IT without an owner — and deciding to build the partner he kept wishing they had. That discipline carries straight into how ARKBEL runs its own client projects.
Around him is a small senior team — engineers who design, build and support what they ship, without account managers in between. When you work with ARKBEL, the person you talk to is the person doing the work. That is a deliberate choice, and it is why our clients stay.
We are based in Rijeka and work on-site across Primorje-Gorski Kotar county, remotely across Croatia, and internationally on digital projects.
How we think
Problems before mechanisms
We start from what is slowing your business down — not from the technology we want to sell. Sometimes the answer is software; sometimes it is a simpler process.
Partnership over transactions
We prefer long-term relationships with a handful of clients over one-off projects. Most of our engagements begin with a small free review and grow from there.
Boring reliability
Backups that are tested, handovers that are documented, monitoring that alerts before things break. The best IT work is the kind you never notice.
Honest scope
If something can safely wait, we say so. If a cheaper approach does the job, we recommend it. A proposal from us tells you what not to spend on, too.
